Was told my dog had lung cancer and had 3-4 months to live. Brought her back in 3 months they took more chest xrays and flippantly told me "she just has old dog lungs". There was no appology or anything said for what I had been going through for that 3 months. I even told the staff and they said nothing either. I'm very glad that my dog doesn't have lung cancer and that she is still alive 1.5 years later, but I should have been given the whole story that it was cancer versus aged lungs and not a death sentence. I am a medical professional (and they knew that) and I was not given the details I guess the way the vet knew them. I think it was uncaring and a real terrible way to treat a good client.
